Going To The Seaside

Put my stash up on the dashboard and my sun hat on my head.
Don't bother with the hamper. I'll just eat out instead.
Forget about the taxman and all the credit calls
Cos I'm going to the seaside and I'm gonna have a ball.

Watch the kids on the fairground and the lifeguard by the sea.
And the girls in their bikinis playing football on the beach.

See the men from different classes all mixing into one
Not thinking of tomorrow and soaking up the sun.
Take some snapshots, buy some candy, hide my head in the sand.
With a dollar in my pocket and a nickel in my hand.

Watch the kids on the fairground and the lifeguard by the sea.
And the girls in their bikinis playing football on the beach.

Watch the young girls with their beach ball. They make my body grow
As they jump up high to catch it, or make a forward throw.
I'll put my Bob D shades on. Hide my eyes from the sun.
As I sip my ice cool shandy. Man I'm gonna have some fun.

Watch the kids on the fairground and the lifeguard by the sea.
And the girls in their bikinis playing football on the beach.
