Now at last another year's over.
Once again Santa pays us a call.
To fill the stockings we'll open the next morning.
The day that we celebrate that Jesus was born.
Every year, the twenty-fifth of December.
The children dance and jump for joy.
Mummy kisses Santa underneath the mistletoe
While daddy sits watching the snow flakes fall.
It's Christmas again and the snow flakes are falling.
It's the season of love and good will.
It's Christmas again. Everybody's got bright smiling faces.
There's a red breasted robin on the window cill.
And Jesus is smiling still.
Break of day while mummy's still sleeping.
They look to see what Santa has brought them.
Already the children have rose from their beds.
They take a peek to see if it's what mummy said.
But then they find they can't wait any longer.
Children will be children and that's for sure.
Then they clear their eyes from the dust from the sandman.
And they cry out "oh Mummy, look what I've got".
It's Christmas again and the snow flakes are falling.
It's the season of love and good will.
It's Christmas again. Everybody's got bright smiling faces.
There's a red breasted robin on the window cill.
And Jesus is smiling still.
